Sunfield's Restaurant, Yorkville

Food is less terrible than the old location, but still terrible.

The new building is very pretty. It is kept clean. The owners appear snobbish and aloof. If they ask a question when they take your money, they don't meet your eyes or listen for the answer. Weird. The food is ok. The prices are high. The portions are large. The waitresses are quite nice, but usually appear overworked or stressed.

This place is horrible! When I use to go to the old location it wasn't perfect looking or anything and it was a bit out dated but at least the food and service was good. Ever since they moved to their new location all has changed. First time we went to the new building it was a month or so after they opened it. The service was Very slow and they forgot so many things we ordered and had to be reminded. None of us were thrilled at all with the food quality or portions. I had the meatloaf and I cant say I ever tasted a meatloaf that was this bad. Couldnt even eat it! My shoes ground up would have tasted better i think.Left very angry and swore it off. But, after many months passed We decided to give it another try thinking maybe they just needed to get the ticks worked out and see if anything improved. It didn't! Over priced, bad quality and not so good service. Should have spent less money on the building and more on quality food products and pricing. Its a shame! They wrecked what they had years ago. I will NEVER go back!!!

i have to agree with cspets!! with one exception the place has been going downhill for quite somtime before the open the new one. they probably did that to get people to go back there. we used to go here all the time because there wasnt anywhere else to go, ever since 2006 we have been going to silver dollars on the other side of town. it takes us longer to get there but it is always worth the trip. we will never go back here not even to try it.

This restaurant has gone downhill since they moved to the new building. Prices have gone up on the food and they charged us for each refill of coke. We could have bought a whole case for what we were charged for our refills...

sunfields is HORRIBLE since they moved---the prices went up to pay for the new construction AND THE PORTIONS ARE SMALLER !!!! I used to go there all the time for the broasted chicken--when i went there after they moved i thought i had a friggin pigeon on my plate !! the pieces were all scrawny and dry as the Sahara---DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!!!

We have eaten at this restaurant for many years and have always had good service and good food for good prices, with no added hair, thank you. We will continue to go back.
