Maxim's Restaurant, Chicago

The servers/bar maids are always pushy and rude. I've only visited Maxim's on Fridays for happy hour. The two times I attended I was moved from a table that was reserved for a party of people. When I called to make a reservation, an employee and the manager told me they don't reserve tables. That same employee said the manager only reserves tables for his friends. How fair is this?

I have gone to Maxim's 2-3 times in the last year. EACH time me and my friends attend the Friday happy hour we have a blast. My advise is to get there around 5 ish to get a seat...the place gets full real quick after 5. They have a DJ and this spot is like a mini club. Great music selection...house, regaee, r&b, steppers. A little bit for everyone. It ususally ends around 9-9:30. If i worked in the city i would attend more frequently.
