We had our daughters wedding at Meson Sabika this past weekend. It was perfect! The grounds were beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate our every need and the food was outstanding. Everyone at the wedding was so impressed with the beauty of the whole place. My daughter told me that evening that her wedding was everything she had always dreamed of. Thanks to everyone at Meson Sabika for helping her dreams come true. As far as a wedding venue goes...the price, the staff, the beauty and overall impressive appeal cannot be beat.

We had my daughter's bridal shower here on a Saturday at Noon. It was very relaxed because the restaurant was not open to the public. The price for the rental of the room and the food were very reasonable. The food was delicious and the service was great. Very romantic and relaxed atmosphere. Grounds well kept and quite lovely.

Have been going to Meson for years but for the last few years the service is getting worse and worse. One Sunday we went in midafternoon with friends, rooms were mostly empty and were told there were no available tables. Went toward the bar but were told that there was no bartender that day. Although the food, as remembered, was great and the location beautiful, ther service is awful for the restaurant. Seems that all they care about now is the banquet facility

Fabulous food, and very fun. The waitstaff seem very young and a little rushed, but service is good otherwise. Nice atmosphere--a perfect place for special occasions. My wife have been there a few times now and have consistently had a great time. The mansion is mysterious, and apparently haunted.

The food at Meson is outstanding, but we received service that was so horrendous that I actually wrote a letter to the manager. Leaving wasn't an option, we were seated at 9:10 with an 8:30 reservation. Our server never approached until 9:20. We never got our plates less than 10 minutes apart. This has become a banquet facility that serves restaurant customers if they get around to it. The manager never responded to my polite letter. They apparently don't care. If you go, choose a mid week night in March when they aren't booked with weddings.

Not Authentic

I am a lover of good Tapas, having lived in Spain for many years this was a complete let down, not at all authentic Tapas, not even close. This was more like spanamerican food than real spanish tapas. Soryy for the bad review but if you like real tapas try elsewhere.

Great Place and Fun!

We went there twice - once April 06 and once in June 06. Tasty and fun experience. Many items quite authentic (expecially for Illinois) Helpful service - all around great place. I would recommend the Naperville location over the Northfield location.
