I read all the reviews and decided this place was worth a try. We were actually disappointed. I love love love pizza, I know my pizza! Although the crust was good, everything else on the pizza was not! Please do not waste a good crust...work on the sauce, other ingredients, and I like cheese, but there was definately a bit too much. I will not be going back, just not my slice.
I read the review about this place and everything is true ... fantastic ! Pizza is great with alot of cheese . Used to like Tonys and Ach and lous but they are out of the running now . I got the Italian Beef for my mother and she loved it so much she went back by her self . Reasonable prices to for what you get . I won't go anywhere else now .... I'm hooked ! Thanks to everyone here for their input .
Really good pizza. Was at Stoneys for awhile and was bummed when he left. Thrilled to hear he's up and running in the old Dominos pizza spot at the corner of Elmwood and Galena. Forget about Lil Sneezers and Pizza Slut, order from Gourmet and remember what good pizza tastes like!
Gourmet PIzza is without question the best pizza in 'A' town. My personal fav is the special (xtra sauce and well done of course) w/pineapple and jalapenos. It is a taste medly that dances on the taste buds. The crust is the best around and the service is great. What most people may not know is that Gourmet has excellent sandwiches as well. The American; Itialian beef, ham and turkey w/your choice of cheese and toppings will make anything from Subway look limp and taste sad. Gourmet also accommodates special orders. I bring several frozen pizzas to my brother who lives out of state when I visit him. So give Gourmet a try! You'll love it.
We looked through the reviews in Aurora and picked this place for take-out. We had one pizza with sausage and pepperoni and the other was veggie. This is traditional thin crust pizza made very well. You won't find a dough rolling machine in the kitchen. The crusts are hand-tossed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! The owner says he's moved locations a few times. My guess is that he has a local following and probably will do well if he moves again and gets some dine-in space.
