My wife and I had the Steak medallions and shimp, whatever it's called. The meal was definately overpriced and the shimp smelled slightly fishy.
Neverless, we both got sick from it and reported to Lone Star the very next morning. I now believe it was from the shrimp and probably should have sent it back.
It's been one week, and their 3rd party administrator still hasn't refunded us the cost of these meals. I would never recommend eating at this restaurant or any other Lone Star Restaurants. They need to take resposibility for what they are serving.
If you like watered down salad dressing, this is the place for you. What a sorry excuse for salad dressing. STAY CLEAR !
I should have known it was a bad omen when I walked up to the front door to see a RAT feeder that dispenses RAT FOOD to RATS sitting just to the right of the entrance.
I will follow up at a later date to see if my reporting was reported (by Lone Star) to the Department of Health.
I love to eat their salad and they have delicious baked potatoes. They always give you warm bread to eat while your waiting and it is so good. The service is really good to. The only thing bad is the country music and it can be really expensive.
Now that Lone Star is under new managment, customers definately come first! I have been going there for a couple years now, and the service is wonderful. I am super picky with my steaks, and if my steak is over cooked even slightly or it just isn't what I wanted, they do not hesitate to make me a brand new steak...even when I am being super picky and they have to make me 3 new steaks, I am always talked to with a smile! The managment comes out and makes sure that I am satisfied with my steak before he leaves my table. So many times that I have been super picky, and I never had a single person seem to be unhappy with me in the slightest. The manager would even pay for my meals and dessert if I had been super picky and had my steak returned..or if I wasn't exactly pleased with my server-which only happened once-but I think he was just nervous because of being new. I always leave happy and satisfied, even if I do have to return my steak because it is not bloody enough..the manager's always give me what I want so that I am happy. I don't mind having to wait for another steak, as long as I get my steak the way I want, and the managment and servers are there doing everything they can to make sure that I leave happy. The service has really turned around after all new managment arrived, not like the old managment was bad...the new are alot more friendly and comfortable to talk to. I feel like I am talking to family when I ever I talk to the managment or servers. I love it there, and I highly recommend it to everyone I know. I will continue going there for years to come, they are constantly making things bigger and better all the time!
