I was at Fox's not too long ago for lunch/ early dinner and let me tell you it was an experience I will never forget! Not in a good way either...I came in with my family and had to wait about 10 mins because there was no hostess about and it wasn't even that busy. Then when we were on the verge of walking out a server came up and sat us. We were sat right on top of someone else when there was nothing but empty seats available. As we were looking over our menus the hostess came up to our table and very rudely asked us who sat us...We ordered a pizza a Fox's Special which was not bad actually...The only thing that saved the place. While we were waiting for our food I believe it was the owner Frank Fox was screaming at someone in the room thats next to the hostess desk. He was swearing up a storm. Now my kids do not need to hear that. I thought that this was suppose to be a family restaurant and with that language, I hardly think so. The waitress was kind and efficient. She always made sure we were had drinks....However, when we I went into the bathrooms they were atrocious!!!! Toliet paper all over the floor. The sinks were all soapy and watery..On top of all that there was no hand towels to dry your hands or the one that did have the paper in the batteries were dead so you couldn't get to them. It made me so upset. I usually don't write reviews or what not for restaurants and such but this one really upset me. I will def. not be back!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I went there last night to meet a friend who will be leaving town soon. Waitress said there would be an hour wait for our pizza, we order two cause we each like different toppings, and had just ordered drinks so we thought OK- Well we actually waited TWO hours for our pizza and then only one was brought out and we waited another 10 minutes for the other. By then we were starved and angry. If this is the way they try to sell more drinks then that's pretty lousy. That extra thin crust pizza should never take more then 20-30 minutes so allowing an hour cause they had a pizza special and they were busy was more then sufficient, BUT two hours was unbelievable, that is NO WAY to treat customers to try to shake them down to buy more drinks. We won't go back - it's not worth the wait, it isn't that good, We should have left and would know better next time.
I have lived in this area for a long time and have been to fox`s so many times. I love the Fox`s special, it`s the best pizza I ever had. I do have a complaint though, I went there on News Years eve to pick up a carry out pizza. I always look for coupons, and had one for $5.00 off an order of $25.00 dollars. I brought it in and they wouldn`t accept it, they said no coupons on holidays. It made me mad! There was nothing on the coupon that says excludes holidays and or certain days, so in my opinion that is FRAUD! Besides I don`t think New`s Years Eve is a Holiday, New Years day is! You cannot advertise something and then don`t let people have it. I`m sure Fox`s can afford the lousy $5.00, but having a difficult time in this recession $5.00 is $5.00 to me! Shame on you Fox`s!
Good Food, but you cannot go there on a Friday evening and expect to enjoy a nice copnversation with family and friends during dinner. If you sit in the bar area the music is so loud it's difficult to hear what the server is saying and if you go to the back there are kid's parties. Would be nice if there was an area where you could enjoy dinner with soft music and be able to talk without shouting.
