Southfork Family Restaurant, Orland Park

The food there very good. I have never had a bad waiter and you get a lot of food for the $. If you at christmas time see the santa they have he is realy great w/ kids and no charge for pics. All real stuff on him.

Me and my family just got home from this place, what an experience and I must say we will never be coming back to this place again. The dinner started off with having another patron fart right next to our table as they where leaving, we said something to this ignorant man then asked the management for them not to sit anyone else next to us. 5 min later the lady was sitting a guy and his wife next to us. Then the manager was starring at us. Our food was disgusting and the waitress at the end of our meal would not acknowledge us after we told her thank you.

You get a lot of food for the money. Its comfort food, My family loves their cream of lemon chicken rice soup. It is obvious that most of the customers during the day are frequent guests as the owners greet them by name. I would recommend this restaurant for good (not stellar) food at a good price. It is also very popular with the senior citizens in the area, as they are the majority of the customers.

My family and I have been going to Southfork for Sunday breakfast for over five years and always had a wonderful experience. The waitresses and owner always fuss over us even given my kids candy bars after the bill is paid. If something was wrong with the order its taken care right away. So these bad reviews I can't understand. They've always been more than great with my family and other families I know.

Granted the food is nothing special but it's nice when you have a big gathering. You can be seated in the back room where you don't disturb anyone that's in the main dining room. The owners always go out of their way to see to your needs and also will listen to any complaints you may have.
