I've been going here for about a month to fill up my growlers. This is a great local micro-brewery. I haven't eaten here, but the beer is pretty good. The Red and the Appricot Ale are great. If you're going to do the growlers, get them filled on tuesday, its only 5 bucks. Except the special stuff, which is more.
I came to the review section hoping to get a sense for the place. I have to wonder... out of 18 reviews about a Restaurant/Brewery...
WHAT ABOUT THE BEER??
I can find food anywhere... I'm looking for good beer.
I'll let you know after I visit.
(I just put an average rating there because I have no opinon yet)
This is our favorite restaurant! Food portions are generous. Service is exceptional. Daily specials with affordable prices. Rarely a wait unless you get there at prime time on a Saturday. Enjoy the monthly beer flavors. This is a MUST place to eat in Orland!
Good food. Terrible customer service. The owner or manager ruined a perfectly wonderful dining experience at Harrison's.We had eaten here several times before ,but had recieved a 25 dollar gift certificate for Xmas so we decided to try it once again .So the gift certificate says you must spend 35 dollars so we were'nt that hungry just the 2 of us we ordered 2 sandwiches 2 beers and a cup of soup to make 35 bucks and we take half the food home no problem? The bill comes its its about 37 dollars but the waiter comes back and says you have to spend 35 on food only not liquor Well we thought this was very petty but we said fine we'll call my daughter and bring her something .Great Well that's where the owner or whoever she was comes over and says we're still 2 dollars short would we like to buy a desert or something else to go. CMON Most restaurants now are begging for business this one is running them out for 2 bucks Needless to say we told her we'd keep the certificate Pay the full price for the bill It's sad because the food wasn't bad but they won't see us again We gave the certificate to the group of people at the next table It made there night
This place is poor to average at best. Sure they give you big portions and a large selection but this place has runs its course. It had better service and food when it first opened yeqars ago since then everything has gone down. There are better options on teh SW burbs. If you must go there go for drinks and apps thats the best bet. Also if you sit at the outdoor area be prepared for enough cigarette smoke to choke a horse.
