A patron of 10 years of this restaurant I will NEVER go back.
I had worked a very long weekend and as a treat, we were going to have carry out so I could have a nice dinner because I was exhausted. My husband went to pick it up and when he got home there was no rice to pour our dinner over. Now, there was only two people in the dining area and he was the only one picking up carry out. Couldn't they check this order? Anyhow, gas is expensive and driving back was not an option as we are a distance from the restaurant. Sooooo, I called - talked to one female...was put on hold, talked to another female who told me that someone would drive the rice to my home....put on hold again.....then a VERY SURLY MAN got on the phone and told me he couldn't issue a credit and he had no drivers available. I countered that their restaurant had ruined my dinner and what did they plan to do about it. He said no one drives to my city. I again said you ruined my dinner, what are you going to do about it? He was very positive about what he couldn't do for me, but never offered how he would fix this problem...then he hung up on me. Yes, that's right, great customer service here! He hung up on me. The restaurant made the mistake and I get the flak? I DON'T THINK SO!!!! I called back and the receptionist promised to send me a check - we'll see if it indeed comes. Meantime, the owner Nancy was conveniently out of town. Right. I'll be speaking with Nancy again because she obviously has people that don't know what customer service is and how to treat customers. In today's economy and how viral the Internet can be, this tactic is just plain poor business sense. Go back to Hong Kong fella!
