Melting Pot, Schaumburg

Melting pot....WOW! It is a great place to go. It is so delicious and a fantastic experience. The only problem is the price. But, if you can afford it, go!

I weent here on a friday night recently...I had a great time here. The food was great and the good thing about the place is the staff...the hostess were nice...it was a friday night and they were really accomidating to us since we didn't have a reservation...we had to wait a few minutes but noting bad...The hostess were great to us..a blond girl and a short brown haired girl made sure we were happy and let us look at a menu and told us what was good there and everything they told us was awsome...down to the cheese and the choc. it was awsome...the server was great too...he made sure we had everything we needed and never forgot about us considering how busy they were for a friday night! i would recomend this place to anyone...the food and the service there is great and i would tell ANYONE who wants to try something new to go the the melting pot!!!!!!!

Lets start with the drawbacks...we called ahead to get see if we needed reservations. The girl told us she was booked until 9:30pm and the only thing she had available was a bar table. Since it was just us two, no problem. Unfortunatly when we got there for our reservation there were several tables/booths open, so I'm not sure how she was booked until 9:30. Our table was not bad, but we would have prefered to be at a booth or regular table with more room. Anyways...that was pretty much the only beef I had. Service was great! I agree with the rest of the reviews....YOUR PAYING FOR THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE FONDU EXPERIENCE. Its worth it though. Bring your friends here for a good time. Food and sauces were great, but nothing exceptional. (How can you go wrong with fondu?) We left full as a tick. Try the Signature meal for two with a few glasses of wine. The chocolate desert fondu was the icing on the cake. I would go back, but only to bring my friends and business associates for an interesting night out.

a very nice/romantic type setting, friendly servers, and GREAT FONDUE! We went the for a graduation party, and now are going for my birthday. Price is about $50 a person, but you are served a four course meal, which is easily eaten, since it is fondue ^_^

Great Ambiance, Awesome Service and Great Welcome Crew is what you pay for here. The food could be a lot better compared to over places like this around and you'll always go home hungry. But that aside, it's just a fun place to goto.

I have never had worse service in my life. We waited 15 minutes just for our waiter to come and greet us. The bathroom toilets were both clogged and unable to be used. What a poorly managed restaurant. Get better service at McDonalds. AVOID at all costs. Never again....

All I can say is if you want great food and fun atmosphere you should go to this restaurant. A little on the pricey side but worth every penny.
