Maggiano's - Italian Catering & Restaurant, Schaumburg

they've changed their recipes or a new cook or something- but everything was terrible, even the chocolate cake couldn't fix it.

I hosted a party yesterday for about 80 people but around 16-20 people were not able to make it. My contract with Maggiano's stated that all leftovers will be packed for the host but when I got home, all they packed were the fettucine alfredo (3-4 trays of it), 1 tray of stuffed mushrooms (with 8 pcs in it), and a tray of spinach with artichoke (with about 5 spoonfuls in it). 1 whole table was not occupied and 3 other tables each only had about 4 adults seated. My table in particular had a lot of leftovers such as the salad, calamari, sausage, lasagna, fettucine and chicken saltimbocca. So I was expecting to take home at least the full menu of the untouched table. Also, one of my guests complained about the server not wanting to give her another glass of Coke when she asked for it. The server told her that she still had Coke in her glass! Yeah, she drank most of it, and all that was left was watered-down Coke. Why didn't this server provide my guest another glass?! I called Maggiano's Schaumburg yesterday as soon as I got home to speak with the Manager but the girl who answered said no one was available but she took my name and number and promised that she would have the Manager call me either last night or this morning. Of course, no one has returned my call. Food was good but they did not honor the contract.

SECOND TIME GOING) CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT THE BEST.ESPECIALLY THE HOST(S) I HAD TO WAIT ALMOST AN HOUR FOR MY FOOD (TAKE OUT) THIS WAS RIDICULOUS, THE MANAGER HAD TO HOOK ME UP WITH A DISCOUNT AND APOLOGIZED AFTER I TOLD HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED(VERY APPRECIATED IF NOT I WOULD HAVE JUST WALKOUT AND LEFT THE FOOD), THE FOOD WAS AWESOME AND AFFORDABLE THOUGH BIG PORTIONS. THE SITTING IS OK..THE TABLE(s) ARE KIND OF CLOSE TO EACH OTHER BUT WHAT CAN YOU SAY WE LIVE IN THE CHICAGO LAND AREA, FORGET ABOUT QUIET DINNING TOO..IT CAN GET PRETTY LOUD IN THAT JOINT. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE RIGATONI D CHICKEN ITS A MUST!!!! WOULD PROBABLY GO BACK

Mediocre pasta, bland red sauce. The pork loin and chicken parm were equivalent of Swanson frozen meals. Maggiano’s salad was good. Garlic bread and bruchetta were good. For $27 a person family style, there are many better Italian places to eat. If quantity is all you care about, and you ride the electric scooter at Walmart, this is the place for you to eat.

Love, love, love this place. We often go with friends and we get the family style dining, where you choose two or three appetizers, entrees, and desserts. They give you a LOT of food! The bread they bring to your table is wonderful, too. You have to spend some time on the treadmill in the days following, but this place is great for a once-in-a-while splurge. Bravo!

I have always wanted to eat at Maggiano's because I love Olive Garden and I finally went for V-Day and it was the best food I have ever ate!!! I would go back for sure.

Great food! Customer service isn't the best around though.

This place is always excellent everytime I go. I usually get the same spaghetti w/ meatball, rigatoni d chicken, linguine w/ white clam sauce, and the calamari for appetizer. Their food has never disappointed. The service is usually good too, except for one time when our waitor seemed to be high and kept forgetting and messing up our order.

Awesome place. The food is great. Go there on a weekly basis.

EATING FAMILY STYLE!: IF YOU LIKE TO SHARE DISHES WITH YOUR DINNER COMPANIONS THIS IS IT! PORTIONS ARE BIG ENOUGH FOR FOUR HUNGRY PEOPLE. THE FOOD IS NOT HEAVY LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT ITALIAN FOOD TO BE, RIGHT AT WOODFIELD MALL,OUTDOOR DECK IN THE SUMMER IS THE BEST!
