Liberty Restaurant, Libertyville

I have been eating here my whole life. They have served 3 generations of my family, as well as plenty of new customers we have referred to them. We go there as a family every Sunday for breakfast, as well as my grandfather who goes there every morning with a group of guys to have coffee and talk about politics. The owners are very considerate and caring of their customers. The wait staff is competent and timely, and always gets it right. I would recommend The Liberty to anyone strolling through Libertyville!

I have been eating at this restaurant for 5 years. This is the best restuarant in Libertyville if you ask me. What makes this place so special is the variety of fresh food that it serves it's customers. For breakfast my favorite dish is the California Picorino Omelette this Omelette is full of Avacado, Pine nuts, asparagus and loaded with real picorino cheese accompanied with fresh fruit this breakfast specialty can not be found anywhere else in the vicinity and it truly a Liberty creation. For dinner I prefer the fresh fish my favorite item from the fish menu is the Chilean bass when it is available it is a grand meal.

This is a wonderful local treasure of a place. The food is excellent, the wait staff is competent and courteous. Their lamb chops are out of this world good! They do fish well, have a selections of sandwiches and wraps for the burger crowd and mom and dad. This is a family owned establishment, and there are many regulars. We celebrate birthdays there, and meet for soup and sandwiches twice a week, once with a crowd after bowling. Weekend breakfasts are always pleasant, as local people crowd the place. I prefer to spend my money locally rather than hand it over to a giant unknown restaurant corporation. For a quick lunch or a lovely dinner, Liberty is my choice.

I ate breakfast at this location this morning and I never experienced a more horrible breakfast in my life. The staff was very nice, however I ordered an omlet and it had wax paper inside of it along with my ham and cheese. I also asked for a second cup of coffee and it was burnt, and when checking out, the mexican lady working at the counter was very rude too me, and would not subtract the coffee from the bill. I wouldn't reccommend this establishment too no on, at least american's.
