first time shopper. employees too busy to answer any questions.
check out was horrible - 4 young girls all standing around talking and engaged in their own conversation. barly looked up to bother with me.
What a waste of time. If its too good to be true it definately is at Butera(Lindenhurst). Their advertised prices are different than at the store. They will not stand by their printed ad's prices. I was very dissatisfied with my experience and will never go back again. The employees were unhelpfull and rude. Be cautious if you ever find yourself unlucky enough to enter one of their markets.
I love everything about Butera except the produce... it's awful ! many times I find moldy items mixed in ... it seems to be a low, low grade. I've spoken to Jim about it, but said there's not much he can do as there's ordering for all stores alike.
I certainly wish the upper management would take care of this problem...
sometimes prices don't make sence either.. today ran in to buy carrots... had 1# for .49 or 2# packages for 1.29 duhhhhhhhhh...
This happens with quite a few items... have to watch for it...
The fruits & Vegatables are fresh and reasonable,
the bakery has a wonderful selection of baked goods,
and the meat department had the largest selection of fresh meat ,that I have seen in a long time, without the price tag . The clerk was a little snoty but other than that it was well worth the ride. A True Customer (Mother of three)
