I was there today for a lunch after a service about 50 people. Never have I seen so many dirty dishes! Coffe cups with grounds in them. Salad bar had four stacks of plates and the top plate in each stack was dirty. Dinner plates with three stacks only had one dirty plate. How lucky! Hot food was put out without warmers! If the dishes were so dirty in three different areas and hot food without warmers then what is the kitchen. Never will I go back again.

I dined at In Laws restaurant/Milwaukee Avenue in Gurnee on Sunday March 14th. There were mice running over the salad buffet. Disgusting. The waiter saw them as well. I reported it to the mgr on duty but she acted as though it was a normal occurence. I left.

This place has horrible service, I have been there twice now, both times the waiters were very rude and unpleasant. My silverware had crud all over it, the food is ok not worth the money in my opinion. But I have to repeat on both occassion I have been there I recieved terrible service. This place def. needs a brand new employees or managment if it wants to stay profitable.

Who is the boss here?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/07
The food was awful and the service worse. It was cold and not good at all. Our waiter dropped napkins on the floor and picked them up and put some of them at our plates.

We had dinner on Sunday June 19..Fathers Day. The service and the food were terrible. We ordered Filet Mingon ..1 medium well..came very well and dried out. The other 2 medium rare.. .. came very well and dried out. After waitin 45 minutes and we had asked for a rush on the food for our son had played a double header across the street and was starved. The small steak also was not a $20 Steak. Something is very wrong there. We had to ask for a roll. We were miss informerd about the brunch. We were told it was over and yet around the time we were finally served new patrons were then allowed to go to the brunch. I feel sorry for the waitresses and other servers as it is not their fault that the owner of the establishment must not care.

The staff needs an attitude adjustment
By thejudge, 8/17/06
This place was rebuilt after a fire and they killed it. The food is just OK. The staff is rude and immature. The silverware and dishes are ALWAYS filthy and disgusting. When I finally brought it to their attention, they responded all wrong and I haven't been back since and don't plan on it. Much better before the fire. The Khayats try hard but are not really in touch. They can never really quite make it happen. It's like carrying the ball all the way to the goal line and then fumbling for no reason. I can't figure it out. All I know is their restaurants are ultimately disappointing.

Solid Buffet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/06
This is what I would call a value restaurant. The food is only above average, but you can't beat price/selection/quality of the all-you-can-eat buffet. The Sunday brunch is a steal. The staff is very hit or miss - sometimes good sometimes bad. They often do not open on time, and leave patrons waiting outside. C'mon at least let us sit down and give us some drinks.
