Tang's Chinese Restaurant, Grayslake

An hour delivery time, way too long. Bad customer service over the phone. Expensive compared to Panda, shrimp were small and cheap for 8 dollar shrimp fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken was great says my gf, I had general tso chicken which I considered rather large and dry in the middle for 11 dollars. The place only has pork egg rolls, what about the ppl whom don t eat pork, hello! They were good though. No napkins or silverware. I ve been to China so there is no such claim as genuine chinese because its all americanized. Just don t charge $36 for a $14 meal!! From WI and this food was saddening, I feel like this place correlates with the IL TOLLS, over priced, 41 may take longer but is worth saving the money!!!!!

Love this place. Good Food, nice portions. We used to go almost once a week for lunch, sadly I cannot afford to go out all the time anymore. For lunch, i always get the Empress Chicken. Fro dinner its always the General Tao s Chicken. My wife was not impressed with the Beef and Broccoli, though. Wished there was more beef in it.

Seriously I don't get the negative reviews. I order Tang's weekly and it is awesome EVERY TIME! I used to live on the West Coast and I have had some great Chinese food and I would rate Tang's right up there with them. I love the fried rice. It does not come with tiny pieces of meat in it like some cheapo local joints. You get chunks of beef, chicken, or pork! My kids love the BBQ Pork Egg Foo Young. They love the shape and texture of the pieces. (Kids..Easily Amused) My kids also love the eggrolls. It's a good sized eggroll, I split it for them and they love it. I really like Tangs and have had great service with them everytime. Definitly glad to have them in my neighborhood. :)

Horrible service, had an annoying girl take my order and didn't seem like she knew what she was talking about, and i was right everything i ordered something was wrong. asked for no onions and got onions, asked for no bean sprout got plenty of bean sprout. it's ridiculous to pay for $40 for a couple dishes and some friend rice. i will be taking my business else where.

Great food, friendly service. Everytime my family eats here we end up taking food home with us. Always recommending.

I love sweet sour chicken and Tangs is the best that I have EVER had. Every time I have gone, the chicken is tender with a crispy outside. Great portion and sauce. The eggrolls are only ok and the ambiance leaves much to be desired but the food makes up for it. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

I have been to this restaurant many many times and I think they are very consistent-- I can't say much for the atmosphere but you can always carry out or have it delivered. Seriously compared to other Chinese Restaurants here you know what you are going to get... Empress Chicken my favorite.

I recommend it. Tastes better than other local Americanized-Chinese restaurants. Good things: - Reasonably priced (middle of local restaurants) - Clean - Free tea (at least at lunch) - Fast/good service - Lunch plates are 3 to 4 stars. Dinner plates are 4-5 stars. - Great fried rice dishes (dinner dish, not the one included with lunch specials) and a number of other dishes. Bad things: - Some dishes are inconsistent. - Quality of meat sometimes is not good

This place is the real place to get chinese food. Its where me and my family go for chinese. They have tons of good food and lots of different selections. I reccomend the orange beef. Its a great meal with a tangy chicken with rice and broccoli. If your in the neighborhood and are feeling like some chinese go to tangs!
