If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. They don't even deserve 1 star. We took really important clients out for dinner. What an embarrassment. The food was cold, and the fish and shrimp were over-cooked, and the pasta seemed like it as days old and reheated with a microwave. The service was horrible, the waitress was snippy. The entire experience was terrible, and our clients hardly touched their food. What an awkward situation, here we were, trying to impress our clients, and I felt like I had to apologize for the horrific dinner. We will NEVER go back! I must say that this is the worse restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life! It would have been better to take our VIP clients to TGIF or Red Lobster!
I had dinner there last night before a concert at Allstate Arena. It was a disaster. The restaurant was PACKED, and could not have held more chairs. The food was mediocre. The service was worse. The waitstaff was working hard, but was completely overwhelmed. I have had good meals at this restaurant in the past, but will NEVER go back there before a big event at the nearby Arena.
I am partial to Carlucci's because it is the restaurant I took my wife to when we first started dating. A year and a half later I picked Carlucci's as the place I would ask her to marry me. The staff helped me get a good table and make it extra romantic. We have been going back there every year to celebrate the day we got engaged there. The same staff is still working there. They remember us, hug us, and tell us how special it is to them that we keep coming back. The manager will ALWAYS come shake our hands, and has always sent us over complimentary treats, drinks, and coffee. Now THAT is what I call service. The food is very good. For Chicago-land, I would say that the price is in line with the quality of the food. But it's definitely the service and memories that keep us going back time and time again.
Molto Bene'! Excellent service, excellent food. Reminded me of eating in a small family ristorante' when I was stationed in Vicenza Italy. Would recommend it to anyone, will eat there again when we travel to the area. Grazia!
Best Italian food in the Chicago area! They also have the best Happy Hour spot in Chicago! I was blown away with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the staff is great! Great wine collection and very knowledgeable staff!

a good reason. This has been the first ever location of the Morton's Steakhouse and has a history that ...
