Joe & Guiseppe Restaurant, Arlington Heights

We went here because of the other reviews although we were really disappointed. I had the lobster ravioli but I have to say it was just cheese with no lobster in it. My husband had the seafood risotto and it was very fishy. The mussels in it were terrible. Not good at all. My daughter had the pasta with Alf redo sauce (she is 12) and she said it was very bland. We had the fried calamari appetizer and that was soggy not crisp. We were all very disappointed. The service was great though. Our waitress was really great. Food needs to be a lot better

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. If you want to impress your friends or family, this is the place to bring them. Try the minestrone soup, pizza bread, eggplant parmesan, giambotta and Sicilian appetizer. The owners are very warm and friendly. This restaurant is always full on the weekend, so make reservations.

I've been going to eat at this restaurant for years, I have also cathered food for a few event and it has never dissapointed me. It is as close to authentic southern Italian cooking as you can get, everything is delicious and plentiful, the service is great and the owner and wife make everyone feel at home. I highly reccomend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Sicilian cooking, I especially like the Sicilian steak.

This place is FABULOUS. The owner Pasquale is super friendly and visits all his customers. His specials are fantastic. My wife and I have brought several friends there and all are welcomed with open arms
