My sister and brother-in-law visited me from Japan. After much insistance that the sushi at Wasabi was great, they reluctantly [How can there possibly be good fresh sushi in Montana?] joined me. Many rolls later, they walked out believers, saying it was some of the best sushi they had ever had. Now, whenever they visit, it is the one restaurant they want to visit.
My girlfriend and I ate there after hiking. The two recommened rolls (The Princess and The OMG) were unbelievably delicious. Our server recommended them, and she did not lie. Beautiful presentation, and some of the best sushi you will eat. Yes, they really do have sushi in Montana. They also pour a healthy glass of wine AND will give a sample tasting if you aren't sure about a vintage. You will want to make reservations during the tourist season if you don't want to sit at the sushi bar.
Well anytime im in and about the Whitefish and Kaispell area I try to make it a point to go to Wasabi... The sushi is great! The service is wonderful! My faves is the Main Event and the New Yorker if I remember correctly... But if anything try it all cause its all great!
The best food and service in White Fish!
I was extremely skeptable about getting Sushi at a place that's 1500 miles away from the ocean, but we were very pleasantly suprised about the freshness and qulity of Wasabi's sushi.
Living in Southern California I never would have thought that I could find an excellent sushi restaurant so inland from the Pacific Ocean. Wasabi Sushi Bar not only provides a variety of great sushi for a reasonable price, but they also have great service as well. I absolutely love this place and always make sure to stop by when I'm in teh area. Be sure to make reservations though because it get crowded very fast.
