Yen Yen Restaurant, Arlington Heights

Yen Yen is good if you like the taste of vomit. The food looks and smells horrible it looks like something the cat threw up . The waiter Dan is a real jerk and he insulted me to my face with a very rude comment. I should of reminded him that the customer is always right. But I was too polite and walked away. Also I was feeling very sick from the food. There were no fortune cookies and the bathrooms are filthy Do not go here if you can help it your stomach will regret it and so will your wallet because everything is overpriced !!!

I've just started going there this past year even though I've lived in the are for a very long time. Food is good. Dining in has the best food. I get take out all the time but the consistency isn't always there. For example, I love sweet and sour chicken and several times the chicken has been over cooked to the point it wasn't edible, however, when I called in they were very gracious and replaced the food or offered credit for my next order. Pleasant people. Fast service. Will continue to be a patron. I would definetly recommend it!

AWESOME!!! I'm a super picky eater and base all Chinese food on this restaurant. (It's known for the Cantonese style in particular, but that's not all they do.) We've been going there for 24 years! Food is always good, service fast and portions plentiful. They are very accomodating in adapting dish ingredients to your taste. Best egg rolls & crab rangoon around. And try the chef specials... you won't regret it! (Coconut Shrimp or Beef in a Nest are my favorites!) Arlington Hts location closed Monday, Buffalo Grove closed on Tuesday. AH is smaller and I like it better there, but BG is awesome as well.

I have been here at least 75 times. The food is consistent between the sit down aspect and the takeout aspect. The portions are large and well priced. Please note with entrees, you may wish to order extra white rice. A takeout order is usually filled in 15-20 minutes and is always ready when you arrive. Good location at the corner of Arlington Hts. Rd. and Lake-Cook Rd. I have found the pot stickers, egg rolls, freid rice, chicken with broccoli, cashew chicken to be choices that mesh well with dishes that I have had in different restaurants in Chinatown.

Tried it 20 times, because we are local and it is convenient. Better in restraunt, but the to-go is not that good.
