Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant, Whitefish

My family and I drive to Whitefish from Columbia Falls almost once a week to enjoy great mexican food. The staff is great and the food is amazing. The atmosphere is great for the whole family and the prices are more than fair. I would recomend to anyone looking for a fresh meal for the whole family.

We are from Houston, Tx and we just ate at Dos Amigos in Whitefish and it was wonderful. Being from Texas we know and love our Mexican food; the food was delicious and on top of that the owner is a wonderful and friendly lady. We had several meals while in Whitefish they were all good; Dos Amigos rocked and was a great price.

I visit Whitefish once a year and this is a favorite stop. The staff is very friendly and we love the cheese dip. Our food was well prepared and tasted fresh. It's a good place to get a great meal at a decent price.

After reading the 5star reviews of Dos Amigos, I took my family there for dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant and the waitress very nice. It went downhill from there. The chips were broken and tasteless, obviously out of a bag. The salsa was passable. We ordered the cheese enchilada and chile relleno dinner. The enchilada was fair but the chile relleno was hard and almost unpalatable. It was almost as if it had been microwaved after being frozen too long. I have never written a review but this restaurant was so bad compared to expectations, that I felt compelled to write.

The chips were stale and broken, obviously from a bag. The salsa was fair. The chile relleno was the worst I've ever had. The beef taco was horrible. The nachos were very unappetizing and tasted like catfood. The only item that was good was the cheese and onion enchilada. We were very disappointed and will not be returning. Taco Bell has better food.

I have no dislikes I know the owner personally and she is the best owner of any restraunt

I absolutely loved the food. I am from California where there is an abundance of mexican restarants, and none of the five I had tried in Montana could compare to home. I was curious about Dos Amigos when I was in town for a ski weekend so I tried it. I was overly impressed with the extensive menu right off the bat. The servers there were very warm hearted and helpful. I ordered the peanut chicken dinner and my husband ordered the steak fajitas. I have to say, this restarant is among the top that I have tried in California. Thanks again...we'll be back.
