Got pizza for take out. Was ready in 15 min. and restaurant crowded when I went to pick it up.But my extra sauce pizza was dry. So it was just an ok piza for me. I actually like thin crusts better but there was no option. I mostle scraped off the sauce and chesse and peperoni and ate it that way
Not bad, but not 5 stars, clearly better than Dominos generic tasteless pizza. Toppings were fresh, cheese was decent quality, sauce OK but a little generic and a bit light. The crust was fresh, but a bit doughy, it supposed to be crusty on the bottom. Other than the crust, the top side of the pizza was cooked properly with just the right amount of char. Delivery was right on time, friendly.
For reference, I am a NY Italian who has eaten pizza from NY to LA and the top 7 or 8 Italian cities. Pete has nothing to be ashamed about. It's a decent pizza, with fresh ingredients, at a fair price with great service. It's not Ray's of NY, Lamonica's or Pagliacci's in L.A. but it is worth it and likely the pizza in a small Montana town you will find within several hundred miles. I'd recommend eating there.
The wait is worth it. We waited for 25 min and the lines were long, but we got seated quickly. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. Pizza and salad were delicious. We will go back.
After waiting in a long line, and after eating, the host (person that seated us) remembered our name as we were leaving. He was a hoot.
I had no problem taking advantage of this delicious pizza. We tried it on the night of our arrival in West Yellowstone. That was August 2. We ate there again on 8/3 because it was delicious. We couldnt eat it on 8/4 because we went to see the Grand Tetons (one day trip) but then we enjoyed it again on 8/5 for lunch and then again for dinner. We left at 11 am on 8/6 so we couldnt eat there again.
We had no problem on eating there 4 times in four days and it was excellent that we discovered it on our first day. We really enjoyed. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...!!!
what a delicious pizza.
This summer we stayed in West Yellowstone and unfortunately didn't discover Pete's until the middle of our stay. The wait was long (about 45 min) but well worth it. It was the best meal we had on our vacation and it even beats many of the pizza places at home. The last night of our stay, we had Pete's Pizza again, only we were smarter then and ordered it for a carry-out order. DELICIOUS!!!!!
We ordered delivery on our last night in Yellowstone and it was the best meal we had the whole vacation. The Chicken Fettucinni Alfredo was unlike any I've had before (much better) and the salads were fresh and not boring.
We'll definitely visit the next time we're in town.
