we visited yellowstone last september.....we both had steak dinner and the food was bad......steak was tough, the rolls were as cold as if they took them straight out of the frig. only patrons that got good waitress service was the patrons at the bar........will never eat at bullwinkles again....very disappointed with food and the service. was the worst meal i had on our vacation there.

We my parents and I ate there twice. Mom had a burger and Dad had the walleye and raved about it. Both times I had the FRIED CHICKEN, it was SO good. I also must mention that the french fries were out of this world tasty, crunchy, real potato fries from IDAHO. I wish we got those kinds of potatoes in CA. Parents had baked potatoes and they were at least 7 inches long! To die for good. The salads were not that great, but I didn't care as my half a chicken was so moist and tasty that I didn't want to even eat the salad. The place is eclectic, its old, it's a saloon that was added on to, the tables are generic and funky, but who the hell cares, it was packed both times we were there and I was happy to sit among locals having a great time while they cleaned off the table...who cares! Go there and try it.

Denny's food at insulting prices. The wine was bad, silverware was pressed aluminum foil, not a place we would go back to.

After reading the reviews we decided to go and were greatly disappointed! The place was a mess with slopply placed items and half wiped tables. The service if thats what you could call it was the biggest mess of all, our waitress looked like she had just woke up from a late night at the bar and her waitressing skills were rude, uninviting, and barely there. My husband and I shared a plate and were charged a split fee of 5.75 which I have never heard of (my husband and I frequenlty share) from big chains to local spots. The food was either over seasoned or underseasoned depending on the item being eaten. Certainly for the price was not what I or my husband had hoped to see. We overheard another customer who was unhappy with the charge on their kids meals and their server was very uncomplaint and bickered with the other customer before seeking the manager. The manager was quick tempered and rude to the customer and repromanded the server infront of the resturant. On the way out we noticed the place was for sale-no wonder-I'd get out from under that sad excuse for a restraunt as well if I owned it. Absolutley will never recommend or go to again!!!

Mean, mean service. Salad was absoltely inedible. These folks think nothing of serving half-rotted food. My dinner was contaminated with odds and ends that were not part of my dish. Disgustng. Request for replacement was met with threats of arrest. Don't believe it is possible? Check out restaurant on trip advisor. I didn't bother to post a negative review there. There were plenty!

While the meal was quite good, it wasn't EXCELLENT. Expected it to be spendy, due to the locale. Had hoped service to be a little better but it was a weekend, before Christmas and the staff seemed somewhat new. Varied menu that isn't standard restaurant fare for the area made it interesting. I would recommend the place, crowded though it may be.

It was so good we ate there twice.

The food and service were excellent. Just by looking at the place you would never expect such gourmet meals. My hat is off to the chef. I wish I could move Bullwinkles to Tennessee.
