We just had our wedding at the resort in September and it was amazing. The staff was more than willing to help us out and allowing us to get into the convention room earlier than the contract stated to get set up. The meal was great and much larger than most other weddings I have been to in the past. The best part about the resort is the view.
I would highly recommend Twin Oaks to anyone looking for the perfect location for a wedding.
We had a recent wedding there and it was a disaster!! The food was very sub par especially for the price. We found pubic hairs in our sheets. This was supposed to be a clean room...REALLY..The front desk staff was decent..But it was very apparent that the catering staff was way over their heads..The food was not even close to what we were told...Please when does one serve warm white wine..I could go on and on..The view is terrific though and we had nice weather..But that is the only positives we can say. Hopefully they get their act together
We were at Twin Oaks Resort and were surprised at how well our weekend was after reading the comments on this site. We rented bikes from the hotel and rode around the lake. The restaurant was peaceful and we all enjoyed the food. I would recommend Twin Oaks to any of my friends
The property is really pretty, our room was we felt overpriced, but a great view of the lake. The food in the restaurant is the best by far in North Dakota. We heard Chef Robert Erickson is one of the best in the region, he is also from Portland, we have ate his food there too and his food was extraordinary as usual. Our service however was horrible! There was no wine list, our table was dirty, lipstick on my water glass and our server was sloppy, rude, and did not have a clue about the menu. The Chefs food made up for most of this. The best salmon and creme brulee I have ever had. When we checked out we tried to bring up our concerns to the General Manager but we felt like he really didn't care about what we had to say. The saving grace about this resort is the view and the food. They really can do much better if they had better service and caring Management. We will be back but not to stay. Great place to get a great meal. Next time we will stay at the Quilt Inn and just eat at the Restaurant.
