Twin Oaks Resort

The property is really pretty, our room was we felt overpriced, but a great view of the lake. The food in the restaurant is the best by far in North Dakota. We heard Chef Robert Erickson is one of the best in the region, he is also from Portland, we have ate his food there too and his food was extraordinary as usual. Our service however was horrible! There was no wine list, our table was dirty, lipstick on my water glass and our server was sloppy, rude, and did not have a clue about the menu. The Chefs food made up for most of this. The best salmon and creme brulee I have ever had. When we checked out we tried to bring up our concerns to the General Manager but we felt like he really didn't care about what we had to say. The saving grace about this resort is the view and the food. They really can do much better if they had better service and caring Management. We will be back but not to stay. Great place to get a great meal. Next time we will stay at the Quilt Inn and just eat at the Restaurant.
