The food here is fabulous, with a good variety for just about everyone. The featured specials rotate over time, so even regulars have the chance to try something new. Most servers are smiling, attentive, courteous, and truly giving the impression that they love their jobs. Poor service here is a real rarity, and the managers and servers go out of their way to make guests feel welcome.
All this great stuff does come at a price, though. The prices here can be a bit high, especially for drinks. Sodas are bottomless, but items such as the shakes and adult beverages are not. The shakes in particuar are small for what you pay, and featured drinks (from the cocktail menu) can be very pricey for this area ($7 for a margarita). Also, it isn't the place to go if you have a vegetarian in your party, as there are very few items without meat.
Overall, though, this is one of my favorite restaurants, especially for unwinding with a drink and an appetizer at the end of a long day. I recommend it to any who come to town and want to see the best Midwest hospitality has to offer.
Applebees is a great place for a evening out with your signifigant other. Or a party with a group of people. But the prices for some of their entre's are a little over done. Maybe if the prices were cheeper would I go there on a day to day basis.
