Watch your back and your pocket-book if you book a private party at Juanos in Fargo! He will quote you a $15 minimum per person and tell you the so called private room is complimentary with the event. He'll tell you that the minimum can be reached with the combination of food and beverage too! What deal, if it were only true. We booked an event, confirmed 10 guests 2 days prior and budgetted our expenses. Let's see. 10x15=$150+$30 tip=$180 total. Juan made a run for it before he had his darling server deliver the blow. He charged us $327! (We each had 3 drinks). Now I'm sorry folks, even verbal contracts should be honored. (I did attempt to meet with him for final confirmation and to do just that-but he blew me off) So when it comes to booking a private event with Juano's in Fargo (any location), GET IT IN WRITING even if you have to chase him all over town. Better yet-go to Mexican Village! Oh and the so called private room, be prepared to share it with the elderly tenants who will be passing through. If you complain about the bill, he'll threaten to call the police!
The atmosphere was great but the service was terrible. I thought I was just as likely to be spit on as I was to be served my food. The food was good but borderline generic. Something needs to be done. New employees would be a huge asset
Juano's Restaurant is kind of hidden on North broadwway. right when you think you've gone to far there it is. But if your looking for some truely authentic Mexican food, You'll be happy you found this place. I'm a vegeatarian and I can honestly say their Vegetarian burrito is the best I've had yet. Keep up the good work Juano
