Millstone Family Restaurant, Rapid City

My husband and I have been visiting the area 2 - 3 times a year for the past 15 years; the daily routine includes having breakfast every morning at the Millstone (in Baken Park). We enjoy all the staff, but we try to get a table in Georgia's area...we always have a big group with the kids and grandkids (10-13 on average) we are a big group and we expect "issues", but the staff handles it well; I especially enjoy Georgia because even though we are there for 4-5 days at a time and only 2 or 3 trips a year, she remembers the names of the grandkids and is basically fantastic at working with all the messes and challenges that go with big groups that involve family members of all ages (5-50). Note: Skip the Millstone up near the highway - the Baken Park Millstone is WAY better.

We ate our breakfast here and thought it was very good. The waitress was very attentive.

On my recent visit to SD, I stopped here for dinner. This was a wonderful family restaurant. Cute decor, friendly staff. and home-cooked food. What more could you ask? How about a great price as well. Highly recommended.
