Golden Phoenix, Rapid City

Golden Phoenix is an excellent restaurant. We are serving in the military and have made several vists there. What brings us back is the authenticity of the food, the ambiance and the PRICES are very reasonable. Its quite grand. My fellow sailors and I find it to be one of our favorite places to vist. The Golden Phoenix is an excellent place. Sit down style, Wide variety of items on menu, good prices, Food was wonderful. If you go during peak times, expect a wait. Many people order carry out from here, and with one cashier at the front door, the lines between people waiting to be seated and people picking up orders can get pretty confused. Definetly worth the wait.

Pleasant restaurant and good decor. The service is not always consistent but overall good. The food is excellent. I have tried seven different dishes so far and all of them were very good.

Old style service, tablecloths, big table with glass spinning lazy susan made for ease of sharing all dishes ordered. The Pot Stickers or Pan fried dumplings were the best I have had anywhere EVER! Fresh ingredients with great sauces, not every sauce tastes the same as at some Chinese restaurants. Went to this little place at the recommendation of a foodie who had traveled to Rapid City and this was one of 3 restaurants they gave thumbs up & GO EAT AT directive. A little gem hidden in an average American little city. Plenty of parking. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed.

the service is very personal, I feel like I know them after only being there a few times! I always get their garlic chicken but the entire meal is great, soups, all of it - nice place for lunch too, prices are decent

Very excellent service and food! Best in Rapid City. You can't go wrong ordering here, whether it's take out or dining in! The owner, Jerry, always delights in his customers and creates a very family friendly environment.

Great food and the best customer service I have seen in a long time. I had a wonderful meal and the price was great. I will be going back here again very soon.

This was my favorite hang out, for over 12 years, when I was single and free wheeling. Stop in, grab a few plates of different dishes, and enjoy the flavors. Wide variety of dishes, some things i'd never eat, but the wontons, crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, soup, and other dishes were superb. Once in a while, we'll come back in, but with 2 kids, it gets to be pandemonium in the booths. So it's good for a date, but can be creative otherwise. Price is right for a date as well.

If you are looking for some incredible Chinese food, look no further! Golden Phoenix is a super restaurant! They have a very broad menu, and excellent service. The owner is a really personable guy and loves his patrons! Good prices too!
