Lions Tap Family Restaurant
Lions Tap has been rated as having one of the best hamburgers in the Twin Cities area by almost all surveys around. We have been recognized as one of the top 500 restaurants in the nation. The good news is that itac2s right here in Eden Prairie.
This place is way over rated. I ordered a cheeseburger, hold the tomato and mustard. What i got was a small cheep bun with a thin card board tasting patty with a slice of cheese and 3 small pickle slices UNDER the bottom bun on a county fair type small paper plate. Also ordered fries as that was the only option. Got my burger, no nothing on it. Had to put on mayo, I asked about lettuce and they said they did not serve them with that. Also wanted some jalapenos,,,, had none of them either. After we got our burgers, I saw several burgers come out of the kitchen with lettuce and other things on them. Fries were very disappointing also. small pile of Sams Club crinkle cut frozen fries served in a county fair paper basket. All in all....I give it a all thumbs down. convienence stores burgers are much better. For 23 dollars I got 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries and 2 soft drinks, (what you guys call pop). RECAP. McDonald's beats em hands down on service, product and price. Hell, Smash Burger is 10 times better and less expensive. Very Disappointed. I wouldn't walk across the street, much less drive any distance for this. Do I have to mention I will NEVER be going back there nor will I recommend Lions Tap.
Lion's Tap is fantastic. My husband is on his way to pick some up right as we speak. We have them put the pickles in a separate bag or else the bun gets soggy. The burgers are very very tasty and the frys are great too.
Hands down the best burgers in Minneapolis. If you are reading this and wondering if you should take the time to drive to Lions Tap or get a fast food burger instead, choose Lions Tap! They have a mushroom Swiss burger that is to die for and of course great French fries. My kids love the tap 1919 root beer from New Ulm. They also now sell their special spice so you can make a Lions Tap burger at home, kind of. I do wish they had ice cream for the root beer and dessert.
Extremely over-rated. Would be better off going to Red Robin for value and taste. Myabe check out Snuffy's if you want an old time burger. I don't what the draw is? Unique, I guess you could say in a small and unclean way. Memorable, maybe once because of the previous. Worth the drive down, never. Don't believe the hype!
They can't even serve you burger&fries in a basket, They rather have you eat your burger of a paper plate no bigger than the burger itself. And to put the fries in a little tray that overflows all over the dirty table is just gross
This is one of those places that brings back memories of yesterday! Good home made hambugers, chesseburgers and they are very good! This place sits on one of the older highway routes (US 212) about 2 miles north of Shakopee, about 4 miles straight east of Chaska, or just down the road south of the Flying Cloud airport about a 2 miles.
This noisy, crowded place has been popular with the hip, artsy crowd since the early 1980s, but do not be
intimidated. Everyone can enjoy the great food, friendly service and pleasant surroundings. Come for the spectacular fire roasted pizza, ...
