Huhot Mongolian Grill, Sioux Falls

Best place for Asian style food in the Sioux Falls area. Food is wonderful, atmosphere is great, seating is comfortable and roomy, and the wait is short on off days, if at all. Even on the busy days, (Fridays & Saturdays) the wait isn't too long, but it worth every bit. This is mine and my family's favorite place. I recommend Hu Hot Mongolian Grill to everyone!!! Enjoy!!

In the few years we have lived here, we have not met a soul (including ourselves) who doesn't love going to Huhot. The wait is not long, even when the restaurant is very busy (which is often). It is fun to create your own meal - many choices - pork, beef, chicken, various types of fish and much much more, 3 types of noodles (and/or you can get rice from the waiter(ess). You are waited on almost immediately after you are seated, waiters are prompt, friendly and helpful. The choices of vegetables and different sauces that you can create are memorable - spicy, completely mild, rich or light. You'll want to return once you have been there. The dress is casual, but if you've just been out to "the prom", you don't look out-of place! Prices are good (all you can eat when you go to the food bar) and you can have table service if you like. Don't know what's on the menu for that because the food bar is so good that we haven't looked! The cooks are well-trained, polite. You watch them cooking your meal, you see just how well they cook it as well as how clean they keep the "grill". Yummy cheesecake is usually the main dessert. Huhot is one of the greatest when you are really hungry!

One of my sister and I's favorite places to eat. Where else can you get the amount of food you get AND get to watch it be cooked right in front of you?

I've been to this restaurant several times and every time it turns out to be good stuff, why is that you ask? Well, the food is good because you basically prepare everything yourself, all they do there is cook it for you. If it turns out bad then hey, it's your fault. That's why I give the creator of this sort of dining two thumbs up, he/she basically thought: "since I can't please everyone I might as well let them do it theirselves." Good stuff.

All you can eat! And the best part about it is that when you go up to the buffet line you choose what you want to eat, not whats premade. You choose your own meat, veggies, and sauces and take it up to the grill. Then you watch for food be cooked right in front of your eyes. You will love the experience AND the food!

The first time I went to it was with my daughter. it was interesting to watch them grill your food. The great thing about this is you pick what you want and there is such a variety of things to choose from. I would recommend it to anyone that likes this kind of food.

Sadly, it only took a year and a half for me to find a sauce combination I REALLY like (I stuck to one of their recommended sauces prior to that)! This is a friend's favorite restaurant so I eat here pretty regularly. It's definitely fun, especially if you have a child along who asks them to make fire.

I love Mongolian food! This is not my favorite Mongolian restaurant, but we can't really be picky in South Dakota, now can we? LOL I agree that choosing the right sauce is tricky, but I got that down on my third try. What I dislike about HuHot's is the lousy wait staff. Total thumbs down...

Yum, yum, yum. This is my favorite restaraunt, by far. It is so healthy for you, and it's really fun to bring my son and let him watch them grill the food on the massive grill. My favorite sauce, 2 spoonfuls of teryaki, 2 spoonfuls of not so sweet and sour, 1 spoon of lemon juice, and 1 spoon of either garlic or sesame oil. Believe me, you will like it- but give it a couple tries to get just the right combination for you!
