New ownership has ruined what was a favorite spot. WAS our favorite for over 10 years - eating at least twice a month. Now portions are tiny, prices are higher and carryout packaging went from traditional paper cartons to plastic and styrafoam containers. Every dish tastes the same - like burnt oil. OLD WANGS I MISS YOU !!!

Wang's has been the hole in the wall chinese restaurant of choice for a long while. Fresh food, always hot, and a front of house person who not only remembers all the customers preferred choices of food, but also anything else you chat with about anytime you are there. The buffet value is incredible. I'd recommend the chicken chow mein, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken, all favorites of mine; and I have yet to find somewhere with fried rice I prefer over Wangs. With the friendly service, and the quality and very generous portioning, I'll keep my chinese cravings at bay with Wang's as long as they are there!

We went over lunch hour for the buffet and only half of it had any food on it and what was there was old and cold. We asked them to fill up a few of the empty buffet bins and after sitting there for 45 minutes they never did. then they brought our bill, over charged us and never apologized! Both the service and food are the worst!!! don't go to Wang's!!

I would like enlighten this restaurant on proper phone etiquette. If you say that your facility closes at 8:30, then you should answer your phone if a potential customer calls at 7:45. If you have rules against accepting orders at q certain period of time before closing, then you should state so in your brochures. A potential customer should not have to call literally a dozen times just to receive no answer. If nothing else, you should have some sort of message indicating that you are out on a delivery or away from the phone. If you cannot answer a phone then you probably aren't a very good restaurant.

This is the best Chinese Restaurant in Minnetonka I've had. The food is clean and fresh cook of the day. Everything taste delicious and absolutely the best. The service is super fast and friendly. This is the restaurant you must try in the city.

This place is the BEST! Super hole in the wall, but the food is great. Combination Fried rice huge shrimp and large portion of meat. Food is scorching hot. I've driven 1/2 hour after I have picked it up and it was still super hot when I got to my destination. Beef with garlic sauce can't be beat or chicken with asaparagus, if they have it on special is the absolute best. Service is always super friendly and incredibly fast. Best hidden treasure in Minnetonka!

Great food if you know what to order!

This restaurant has changed ownership several times. Upon arrival, it looks like a typical run-down strip-mall joint. Don't be fooled, though. The restaurant has been inspected by the state and Serve Safe (R). All of the food is very clean and fresh. Some notable dishes include anything kung-pao, whitefish in black bean sauce, sesame chicken (the best I've had), and the hot & sour soup. Make sure to hit the buffet on weekdays because the value can't be beat. If you don't see anything you like on the buffet, be nice to the server and ask her to prepare a dish you prefer. She'll most likely do just that and only charge you the buffet price. This place is great for a hole-in-the-wall.
