Junior's Cafe and Grill is by far my favorite place to eat. The food and service has always been excellent. But, even superb to that is the comfortable home atmosphere. This is what I look for in a restaurant. A place to grab a newspaper, sit back, eat great meal and relax. If you are with the suit and tie crowd and want uniformed service and soft music in the background and are willing to pay extra for all of that, maybe there are other choices for you. My only complaint is, if you are trying to diet this may not be the place to go. Because, your plate will be full and you will finish it all. The food is fantastic.
I used to go to Junior’s all of the time and the food and service was good. Over the past 6 months the food and service has taken a huge dive. The food is often over done and good luck getting in and out with an hour and a half during lunch time. They somehow manage to screw up every order. They offer to cover it, but it does not make a difference when you only have an hour for lunch. Junior’s was good before, but it’s not worth the time or money even though the food is pretty good. Forget this place. Go someplace else in Eagan.
I have been to Junior's about 1/2 dozen times and I have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always hot and delicious. The wait staff is polite and pretty quick at taking orders. It's hard for me to finish my food because there is so much on my plate and for a really reasonable price. This is probably one of the best little Ma and Pa joints that I have ever been to. I would highly recommend Junior's to anybody who wants to have the experience of what good food and service should be.
We've been there 3 times now and the food has been amazing...and their prices are unbelievably cheap. This place isn't out to make money...they're out to serve great food.
The wait staff is friendly and sometimes distracted (it's very small and sometimes very busy-the wait staff does do a lot more than just take your order and serve the food), but just say 'excuse me could I get ___' and you've got it.
Get the 10 oz sirloin wraped in bacon...it's only $9!!! and it's tender and juice - everything a steak should be-I couldn't eat it all!
The restaurant is small, probably seats less than 30...although I haven't counted. the walls have black and white old pictures...there really isn't much to look at because it's so small but the TV is always on and you can watch your food cook.
