Liberty's Restaurant & Lounge
Lee and Dorothy Noreen started what is now known as Liberty's Restaurant and Lounge in 1975. The two of them had worked in the restaurant business for most of their lives up to this point. Lee, starting as a dishwasher and working on up to cooking.Liberty's Restaurant and Lounge had prospered for nearly twenty-five years, their youngest son, Doug, purchased the restaurant from them in 1999. Lee and Dorothy are still a very active and intricate part in the restaurant today. Although the restaurant has changed hands, Doug has maintained the family tradition while building on the wonderful menu and great service.
Great food, okay prices, if you call in an order for pickup prepare to be dissapointed. I've ordered over the phone 6 times. 6 times they've managed to screw up a simple order. I've tried to go over the order with them to make sure, still screwed up. So, eat in or check your takeout bag.
Recommendataions: Reuben sandwich and the Open Faced Italian Sandwhich.
