Porterhouse of Ctr City, Center City

The place is under new ownership but they should have started over with a new wait staff at the same time. The staff that was there when it was taken over have been there too long,are not personable and seem to care a less about the customers. One in particular sometimes wears an old hooded sweatshirt with the sleeves hanging down over her hands and tromps around like that carrying food. If I were the owners she would be the first to go, she has no personality, no sense of trying to look nice or clean and seems bored to death. The bar staff leaves a lot to be desired as well. There is another long timer that is either in a good mood or a bad mood. If she's in a bad mood you can count on poor service. I will give them an excellent rating on the food - the food is delicious and reasonably priced. If they spruced up the staff they could have a real gold mine on their hands.

I have in the past liked the food here. The service staff has always needed work. Our most recent visit was very poor, food and wait staff once again.

I have taken every one who has visited me, from out of state or in some cases from out of the country(my daughter home on leave from the army) to the Porterhouse for at least one meal. My name is Larry and that's my Porterhouse story
