We didn't know anything about the restaurant except the ad we saw in some local brochure. He hasn't had lamb except in a gyro (same for me) so that's why we went because they advertise they serve it and raise their own lambs. He had the lamb chops and I had The Duke (sirloin steak). I'm a salad and lettuce snob so right off the bat I was quite impressed with the salad - no iceburg lettuce! It's ridiculous but that earns big points for me. He was quite impressed with the lamb chops, done just about right as was my steak. With the steak, I got some onion rings which were awesome, and the french fries we both got were exactly like the ones we make at home - only better - and obviously made fresh. We each got 3 pieces of garlic bread, also delicious (of course!). The prices were reasonable. $42 for both of us including tip & 2 beers. The dinner selection on the menu was kinda skimpy, it was mostly sandwiches, burgers and pizza. But, it's a bar so not unexpected. The service was good but nothing outstanding, the waitress did warm up to us a little and we didn't have to wait too long for anything. This would be a wonderful meal in a restaurant but in a bar, restaurant - outstanding!! If we're ever in the area, we'll definitely return and we've been telling everyone if they're ever in Waupaca to go to Weasel's but it was so good and we were both so impressed that we had to tell the internet too.
