Louie's Landing, Hayward

The restaurant and bar are 1st rate! The new bar owners are always on site and very friendly. Food is GREAT!!!!!!!!!. If you are lookin to relax and just be yourself, this is the place!

Stinks like stale smoke, old urine and old beer. If you like looking at the drunken locals with no teeth this is the place for you! Nce decorations to cover up the old furnishings. Plus no air conditioning.

The cabins were right on top of each other, the people were really nice and the food was good, but we had no air and it was extremely hot the week we went and little to no ventilation in the cabins and the lake is what is known as a stained lake meaning it is dark and hard to fish and with two teenagers it made for a long week with no fish caught. We finally went to another lake and caught more fish in two hours than in 3 days at Moose lake where Louies is. Sorry we wont be back.

The place was super....good time had by all...clean cabins and very friendly people.. Very quiet grounds except for the geese :) Weather was great...good area for walking/jogging....fun the whole family...fishing was not good was too hot..

I did not like the over abundance of people smoking cigarettes. Louie's is quite small and the smoke is quite overwhelming. I won't be stopping by there again. If you're looking for a nice place to eat and drink on Moose Lake, without the disgusting smell of cigarettes permeating your entire existence, go to Virgin Timbers.

This is our 9th year going to Louies Landing and we will not stop. The food is some of the best in the area and a great value. The cabins are always extremly clean and have great lake views. We cannot say enough about Roger, Faye, Diana and all the people at Louies they always make us feel at home and like one of the family.
