Best Subs In The Valley!!: I have been a frequent customer of the downtown Jimmy John's restaurant for almost 2 years. I eat there at least once per week. Their food is awsome - always very fresh tasting and the bread is by far the best that I've ever tasted. I think it's much better than a similar downtown sub shop, Erbert and Gerberts. And it's hands-down better than Subway. Plus the staff is always friendly and way cool, especially after bar close! The only thing I wish they offered was soup but their yummy subs make up for that. Highly recommended!
I really think in all the years that I`ve been eating subs that this is bar none the best cold sandwich I`ve ever had and that its got to do with the ingredents they use. Like real Heilmans Mayo and great meats and cheese. I love the gargantuan it has everthing on it and can be shared between two people. And dont forget they sell the bread that is past its time and it make the best garlic bread ever. Bushy.
We love JJ. My husband is in Iraq right now and the number on thing he ask to be sent over is a number 9. All though we cant send that to him we make sure to tell him when we have JJ for dinner. I love that you deliever as well, its so nice to pick up the phone and have our dinner here in no time at all. With two kids you sure know how to make dinner easy. Thanks for the yummy subs.
We stopped in around 6pm and the place was empty except for the two workers. Our subs were made in less then 2 minutes, but the guy threw my sub over the counter to me. Both of the front tables by the window were dirty. We asked the GUY to let us take some chairs outside but were unable to convince him, he didn't want to have to bring them back in.
The vito sub I got was pretty good and the bread was great ( almost as good as erberts) I would eat here again, only after bar when the brat line is too long.
