Durango's Mexican Restaurant, Oshkosh

The service was bad and the food was gross and expensive!! Go to South of the Border on Oregon!!! I will never go here again!!

The Food and Service is ALWAYS excellent at Durango's. By far our families favorite Mexican Restaurant anywhere. The quality and quantity is great and the place is spotless! You never have a dry soda glass either as they guys keep an eye on your drinks and chips so you are never lacking either. Prices are reasonable for the big portions. I'd highly recommend Durango's to any Mexican food lover.

I used to be a regular at Durango's for over 4 years. The service was always great, the food was always delicious and fast, and I always felt satisfied upon leaving. My last experience there was terrible. I visited in January 2008 with my fiance. This time the service was awful. We were one of four tables in the entire place. Our waiter never checked on us, we never got refills, and yet the surrounding guests all got adequate service--especially the two girls sitting in the back of the restaurant. Not only was the service horrible, but to my disgust, we got to the bottom of our chip basket, and someone else's old, dried up chunk of food was present. Needless to say, we will never go back to Durango's again.

Nice, clean building. Superb service. Food is fantastic and high quality ingredients are used. I'm really picky about meat and I always order chicken meals here and it is nothing but clean, fat-free white meat chicken. You never have to worry about biting into something nasty. We love it here and it is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Oshkosh.

The first time I walked into the family-oriented setting of Durangos, I was blown away not only by the employees who were dedicated to getting the order right, and the speed of their service, but by how their food was delicious and healthy. Their tacos are made fresh with the best ingredients that make this my favorite mexican restatraunt north of the border!

Being originally from the south, I have had a hard time finding good mexican food. Until Now!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is great, the service is great, and the prices isn't too shabby either!

I visit this restuarant about twice a month. The staff is so very, very friendly... and accommodating. The food is great in the tradition of American expectations of Mexican food. This is to say that it is very good, more authentic Mexican than most Mexican food joints and a little less authentic than actual down-home Mexico. I genuinely enjoy my meals, and the experience of friendly and attentive waitstaff. The chips and salsa are very special. The prices are as friendly as the waitstaff. My favorite meal is the Chicken parilla. YUMMMY! But everything I or my friends have had there... was wonderful.

Best Mexican food in the area. Great casual atmosphere. Big portions for supper. Good value. Service is excellent.

I love authentic Mexican food, once you eat at Durangos nothing else seems to cut it. I haven't met a person yet who hasn't said the same thing about this restaurant, it's just that good. Not only is the food incredible but the prices are so reasonable you don't feel guilty at all for leaving a very generous tip. If it wasn't for the fact that the food was perfect or the prices were so great the service alone would warrant high praise. When your fumbling with the menu trying to pronounce some of the wonderfull dishes they have they simply smile, nod and write it down as if you said it correctly. You never have to ask for a refill because your glass never gets half empty before they ask if you need another. If you love mexican food you owe it to yourself to give Durangos a shot, you won't be disapointed!
