King Buffet, Sparta

I was charged much more than the 5.5 percent tax on one food item. I feel cheated. Will I go there again - nope! The Chinese food in Tomah is much better, and they charge accordingly.

I can't say enough good things about this particular chinese buffet. The staff is friendly, on their toes, they keep the food trays full, and the food is VERY good. Great buffet all around, stop in if you are passing through!

The service here is always fast, reliable, and friendly. The buffet stay full and hot and the diningroom is always clean. The staff are very courteous and friendly, too. It has the best Chinese food in the region for sure!

I would have to say that this is definitely one of the better buffets around the area I love Chinese food I have been to almost every Chinese buffet in the Monroe and Lacrosse county area and this one would be tied for 2nd or 3rd place as another comment stated it kinda does depend on the day but I would say about 90% of the time they are consistent with their taste of course the better times to go are around the end of lunch or middle supper language is fine and staff is always friendly

One of my favorite place to eat in the cit. The people are nice and the food is great.

On a road trip, in a strange city, an asian buffet is risky business. I was really impressed. The crab may have been a bit salty--but certainly not bland and washed out like every other buffet crab I've ever had. The general's chicken was a tad vinegary for my taste, but every dish was not only edible, but very pleasant to eat. No picking around the gross things at this buffet. Service was good (at least as good as can be expected in a restaurant where you're not sure if the waitress understands English). Very friendly. Prices were very reasonable. (We were there as a family of 7.) I really enjoyed the experience. Very good food!

The food here is excellent---much better than 3 Chinese Buffets that I've tried in LaCrosse.

The food is alright if you get there at the right time, and by that I mean if you go in between normal eating ours, you are expected to eat the left overs before they fill it with fresh food. YUCK! Service is terrible, I felt like I was an inconvienence to the waitress making her fill my beverage back up. Tomah and Black River Falls are much more on top of their game!!! I recommend them two first before this one.

sometimes its real good, sometimes is terrible. depends on the day, which is not good. it should be good all the time. i also ordered and they has my food waiting on the desk to get cold, instead of a warmer?
