One of the friendliest and most fun saloons in the Northwoods! Always have a great time when snowmobiling over there, the bartender Sue is the best, they know how to keep a customer. The jukebox is the best ever.
The food here has always been great, when Becki, Sher and Tony were in the Kitchen and now that Rob and Heidi run it. We eat here often and have never had a bad meal. Love the frog legs on Fri. nights. Cheri, the bartender, is a hoot, just don't let her know if you're a Bears fan. She might doctor your drink up!!!! ha ha
This is a great north-woods bar and restaurant.I have been going there for more years than I care to remember. I thought the restaurants new owners Rob and Heidi were about the most pleasant and warm people I have ever met. The food coming out of that little kitchen amazes me. The Pulled Pork sandwich is as good as it is big. Rob has some of the best pizza in the area and his duck strips and chicken wings will be legendary someday. Real Food Real people Real Good
My grandmother used to waitress for Sister's. God bless Cheri Shepard's heart. That resturant used to have, hand's down, the best Friday Night Fish Fry in (I would argue) the country. Tuesday nights were great for eating the best ribs in the area and we can't forget the delicious Sat. night prime rib. I'll miss this resturant dearly as the kitchen is now run by different people.
This is a original north woods Log Cabin type Bar. Inside and out. The prices are more than fair for drinks and food and the people working there go out of there way to make you welcome. You can get there bye car, boat ,snowmobile, bike or atv. It is a must stop when visiting the North Woods. Bring the kids and camera there aren't many taverns this unique left in the USA.
