Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, Woodruff

My husband and I were on our way up to Ashland for our 1st wedding anniversary when we stopped here. We had been here before on the way up to Ashland for our honeymoon and liked the food. We walked in and were seated and I ordered an iced tea and my husband ordered a water while we looked over the menu. I stirred my tea and pulled out the spoon that was in it when it was brought to us and much to my disgust it had day old tartar sauce caked on it. I took it up to the lady behind the cash register who shrugged and told her that we would not be eating here and promptly left. If you overlook that obvious detail I can only imagine what gets looked over in food preparation. It is sad the 1st time we truly enjoyed it.
