Refuge Restaurant & Northwoods, Antigo

Wow, I have been to this restaurant a number of times (and I am not one of the snooty customers talked about in a prior post!)...and I love going there! The food is great...sometimes the portions are a little small, but never on a pasta dish! I love the service and the atmosphere! I look forward to when my wallet says I can afford to treat myself to a good meal (that I don't have to cook!) and I can go to the Refuge!!

We have tried this place several times Rude service,especially the dining room manager. Poor food, we ordered steak and it was spoiled, the brouht another and it was bad too. Portions are very small for the prices.

Have been in here a few times and the service has been slow. Food is ok but nothing outstanding. Most customers in the place seem to be stuck up or snooty.

Just called in to make a reservation and the person on the other end I think she said her name was Jolie or something like that was very short,rude and then just HUNG UP on me like I wasn't even there!!! Making a reservation at this place was like pulling teeth or something!!! THUMBS DOWN BEFORE I EVEN GET THERE

EXTREMELY Small lunch portion of Seafood pasta - no salad, no bread - didn't specify on the menu that you wouldn't get that with lunch, just more $$ for dinner portion. We have been there several times, and service is always extremely SLOW.

GREAT FOOD, ATOMOSPHERE AND SERVICE!!!!!!!!! I would recommend this resturant to everyone.. Way better then anywhere in Antigo. Refuge has no competition in this town!!!

I love this place. If it didn't close at night I would never leave.

Service was awful. Food portions were unreal! Fish fry consisted of 3 small fish sticks, tablespoon of coleslaw, and 4 mini potatoes. I really thought we accidentally got the childrens portion. But it was no mistake! My poor husband had to go home and have a cheeseburger. They said that they had to weigh each piece I am 120lbs. and it did not fill me up. The bread came when the meal was over. Service was RUDE!

i like it very much coz of mind bloing services & its romantic karaoke witch makes a man insane.
