San Pedro Cafe is a Caribbean themed restaurant and bar sharing the flavors, culture and pleasures of the Caribbean Sea with residents and visitors of Hudson Wisconsin. Located in the historic and charming main street district of Hudson Wisconsin, San Pedro Cafe is located in what was once a bank built in the 1870's that has been home to various businesses over the years. With its wood-fired brick oven, fruit salsas and spicy-heat-fired dishes, San Pedro Cafe offers a unique experience of Island life. With a concept conceived from the town of San Pedro on the Island paradise of Ambergris Caye (an Island located 40 miles off shore of mainland Belize in Central America),
The food at this restaurant makes me gag. They sweeten everything. i.e: Just pour some sugar on it and call it she-she. Tonight my husband brought home dinner from this place. I managed to choke down enough of it to not insult his effort by swamping it in soy sauce. Over-priced, and over-sweetened. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I am not about new things at all. When my mother-in-law suggested it I was put off but decided it was worth a try.
It was Friday night and packed. Small space for dining but I've seen worse.
We were seated right by the cooks and I must say it was amazing watching them cook and prepare. Our food was phenomenal! I was beyond surprised how perfect everything was. The staff was nice and helpful and the other fellow eaters were a delight to talk to. The only con I had was not being told when the Chef was making our food so we could watch. This place most definitely surpassed my exceptions. I suggest this place for anyone who wants a night away from the kids.
A delightful find. Maple Pork with Banana Mashed Potatoes ... Jerk Chicken with Spicy Penne ... Scallops with Lime Coconut Cream Sauce ... Banana Bread Pudding. We've been there only once but we look forward to going again!
Will drive from Eau Claire (80 mn) just to eat here. The duck nachos were awsome. Sandwiches creative and very flavorful. The salads have a nice twist of ingredients. Don't forget to buy a bottle of the hot sauce made with carrots or orange juice. Something different without driving into the cities.
A laid back, hip, colorful dining experience that incoporates an island vibe. Try the cinnamon rolls with mango sauce for breakfast and anything from the wood fire grill for dinner. Their mojitos can't be beat!
