Laurel Supper Club
The Laurel is a great place to eat. I can t believe anyone would have a bad thing to say about it. The steaks are great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the people who work there actually appreciate you coming in to eat. I will continue to go there twice a month for as long as I am able.

I LOVE THE LAUREL! My husband and I have been going there for over 20 years. The food is homemade, very good, and very reasonably priced. The service is always excellent -- even when they are really crowded and the waitstaff is stretched thin. The steak dinner for two is what we always get, and we've never been disappointed. The relish / appetizer tray is INCLUDED, and the liver pate is to die for! Everyone who has ever accompanied us to the Laurel has loved it, and they are hooked. The bar makes excellent cocktails, and I personally adore their signature Cosmopolitan. The place reminds me of someone's grandma's dining room.... so cozy!! I hope we can go there for years to come.

Ordered a grilled chicken ceasor salad...it came with tomato, cucumber, onion, and a hard boiled egg. No crutons. most of these don t come on a ceasor salad, and any CHEF would know that. My grilled chicken (wasn t grilled) had a fishy taste to it, and after eating a few slices, I am worried I may get sick, not knowing if they possibly keep their raw fish with their chicken, whatever, it tastes nasty! The parmasian was grated, and there wasn t much on there. This salad was 8$+, and if they want to call themselves a supper club they are sorely mistaken! Don t eat there, something is wrong...

This place is nasty. Everything in the place is dirty - windows, carpets, sink, bathrooms, etc. I arrived with 4 very hungry guys who hadn t eaten all day on a Tuesday night. We ordered approx. $150.00 worth of food - the service was super slow and we waited over an hour for our first course. First - they started with appetizers - two orders of burnt onion rings and two orders of cold buffalo chicken wings. Then, they brought out overcooked and burnt to the crisp popovers. Then they brought out soups, which were obviously leftovers and microwaved. Then, they brought out very wet and past expired salads with bottled dressings. Then, they brought out our very bland and basic entrees, which appears to be either frozen or leftovers. The baked potato had been cooked at least 4 times and it was very dry. I asked the waitress -- is this how the food supposed to be? burnt, overcooked, leftovers, and microwaved? The waitress nodded, yes. The entire meal was disgusting and not a good indicator of casual elegant dining they posted outside the restaurant. None of the food were fresh, made from scratch that day. They only had one cook, one bartender and one server on a slow Tuesday night and we ended up being there almost 3 hours when we only expected to be there one hour. We will never go back. This place is disgusting. There are far better restaurants than this one. $150.00 for burnt food and leftovers is outrageous.

My bf and I have eaten here 3-4 times. The prime rib is AMAZING! He loves the fish/shrimp combo. We have always had good service, even on a busy night. On busy nights (like at ANY sitdown restaurant) you might have to wait a bit, but that is why there is the bar right there. We will be going there for my birthday dinner this weekend. They have NEVER disappointed in food or service!!

We went to the Laurel on Feb 14 with another couple. We made early reservations and we were pleased with our food and our server. I think it is a warm inviting place to go. Everyone seem friendly. Love the fireplace.

Don't go on New Years Eve - 20 mins to get a drink , hostess forgot about us and gave away our table. Took 2 1/2 hours to get our food - oh, the manager - no help at all unless we stopped to see her afterward - what's up what that!! Poor service from bartender, hostess, waiter and management~!

The Laurel ALWAYS has great food. You can never go wrong with eating at the Laurel and the price is very reasonable! Notice that the only two bad reviews had NOTHING to do with the food. One guy wasn't smart enough to make a reservation before he came and just expected that everyone change their dinner plans for him and his wife. The other guy unfortunately ran across a waitress that was having a bad day (we all have them). Either way, neither one complained about their great food, and there is no way you would complain about it either!!

The Laurel is our favorite place to eat! Service is great and the food is outstanding! My mouth waters when I think of the hot popovers that are served as part of every meal. We have had parties up to eleven people and the service was fantastic. There are usually two small children in our party and the waitresses have always taken a few extra minutes to make them feel extra special and grown up. Go visit and enjoay a great meal

After being lectured and insulted by the waitress I was ready to just walk out. I am, luckily for The Laurel's sake, a very patient person, but I was pushed to my limit and do not ever want to go back there. If someone in charge there sees this they should consider firing the server with the chain tattoo on her arm. I am angry about what The Laurel has become. It used to be the kind of place that I would bring my family and friends, but now, I will not.
