This place was the Worst place I have ever eaten. I'm in the Dells on Vacation but My family and I can't even enjoy ourselves because we got food poisen from eating there last night. It's like a trap -they make you pay before you even sit down and then give you only one choice of meal and then poisen you. I wish I could go back and never step near the door. Do yourself a favor and never try this place!

This place is great for Breakfast and Lunch. We have vacationed in the Dells for the last 2 summers and each time have stopped at PB's. We plan to return this year. Last year we had breakfast and Lunch. I liked the all you can eat chicken and ribs, but my wife likes the family style breakfast. If you like a lot of good old fashion home cooked food this place has it. Best breakfast in the Dells. I would also say they had the best chicken in the Dells too. Great service and unique decor. The gift shop is nice too.

Loved it! We were staying in the Dells for a nice fall weekend and had eaten at Monks Bar on the Wilderness Property were we were staying. For two sandwiches, an iced tea, hot chocolate, two desserts, and no alcoholic drinks we spent around 50 dollars! Paul Bunyans was a nice change as for 11.99/person our plates were over flowing with good down home cooking! It was such a nice change from the over priced not much for your buck food in the Dells. They did have only one main option or you could get a burger, but that was fine by us. I will definitely go back and I'd love to try their big breakfasts! Sorry but I laugh when Vegetarians and Vegans post reviews on here about it, look at the outside decor when you pull up and in any Dells Visitors book, you can kind of guess it's down home meat and potatoes cooking, not a vegan's delight. If you're looking for a great value, tons of down home food, definitely eat there!

Although the atmosphere is interesting, the food isn't. Having never been or heard of the restaurant before, our family didn't know anything about it. When the host told us about the food, we assummed it was the special of the day. It isn't a 'special.' It is the ONLY thing they serve. If you don't like it, you're out of luck. There are no menus and no options. If you have dietary restrictions, this is not the place for you! I am a vegetarian and the only thing that I could eat was a side salad, bread, and mashed potatoes. All of the vegetables have butter or gravy on them so if you are a vegan, your options are even less. Because they have you pay up front before you eat, I paid $12 for potatoes, bread and a salad. I will NEVER go back.

Make sure you go there hungry! The food is good. You'll spend around $12 total if you get a soda. Eat what you can, they;ll bring more. This is a great place for GROUPS of people. I don't know that I would recommend for a couple. Unless you're really hungry then the price is worth it.

This is a great place for the family to eat. Its all you can eat and its served family style. Paul Bunyan Restaurant is set up like a shanty. I like their breakfest the best. They have really good pancakes and doughnuts. Paul Bunyan Restaurant is a place the kids will love!
