Wasabi Japanese Rstrnt & Sushi, Madison

This place was pretty good, just average in my opinion for a sushi place in madison. The service was pretty good, we got there just before lunch, so our sushi came to us relatively quickly. The atmosphere is pretty laid back, nothing fancy, at all...so the $3 price on a single piece of sushi seems a bit overpriced for us.... Still prefer the service and quality sushi at Muramotos over this place......

I agree that the restaurant is small, but it's usually very busy. The sushi is very good, and they add a lot of spice to it with wasabi in a lot of their rolls. The service is great and the sushi comes out to your table incredibly fast compared to some other places.

This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in Madison. Good sushi/sashimi that are fresh, which most Japanese restaurants can do. However, what really impressed me is the authenticity of other entres, appetizers, and the sushi bar. The only complaint I have is finding parking space in downtown Madison.

Extremely fresh. Tastes like being back in Japan. No other Wasabi restraurant can stand up to this Wasabi. The waitstaff are guest friendly. The location is kind of hard to find but if you ask anyone on State St,they will direct you there. I just wont eat sushi at another restraurant. Period.

I've been to sushi bars all over the country and Wasabi continues to be in my top 5. As many know, it is VERY difficult to find fresh sushi in the midwest and Wasabi never disappoints.
