Parthenon Gyros Restaurant, Madison

Best gyros I've had in my life! I couldn't even find any in Greece that were this good! My family and I ate there 4 times in one weekend during the state boys basketball tournaments.

Honestly, I don't get to Madison very often but when I do, I treat myself to a gyro from the Parthenon. There is no other food like it anywhere in the world, especially in Madison. Also, the fries alone are something to keep coming back for mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............. Dirty place?? Whatever, I would eat a gyro off their floor if I had to...which I have. Thank you so much Parthenon I love you!!!

The best frys and Gryos anywhere! Summertime they have the roof top open and you can sit and see state st.

Parthenon has always nailed the Gyro (or is it Gyros?) BUT do not think about calling ahead to have your food ready to go. It will not happen. Twice I have tried doing this and twice they just forgot about the order. Either they do such good business and they do'nt care or there is a shift change and the employee that took the order just left and did not tell anybody. It is just kind of rude. Excellent food and you havta go but questionable customer service.

I had my first gyro at this place, and I think it will always be the epitome of gyro awesomeness to me. Delicious food. The workers are sometimes a little abrasive (reminds me of the soup nazi), but once you get used to them you are good to go!

I really like the chicken gyros here! The french fries are also very good and a little crispy. I do feel like the prices have gone up recently, but still definitely worth getting.

Everybody I know that likes gyros loves this place... I being a vegetarian liked the veg take on it. Really good.

My favorite place to eat while im downtown!! By far the best gyros in madison... on this earth!!!! Strongly recommend.
