Lombardino's, Madison

Fresh tasting. You can taste the quality. We love the grilled asparagus and the pizza is well made and with a crisp crust. No lunch, just dinner though.

We dined at this resturant on August 10, 2010. Unfortunately, they not only charged our dinner on my credit card, but they charged someone elses as well. Today is August 26. I have had to make repeated calls to the resturant and the correct credit still has not been issued to my credit card. BE VERY CAREFUL using your credit card here, and check your balance. The trouble of gettiing my charge replaced to my credit card credited for someone else's dinner has certainly made us never want to dine here again. We don't live in Madison, however, our children do....so I am forced to call the resturant rather than visit it in person to resolve the matter. Bottom line...it should not take over 2 weeks to fix an issue like this.

Knowledgeable staff, great food which changes with the seasons. Good wine selection. The main minus is a funky, 'Italian' chintzy atmosphere in a not so great location.

A must visit in Madison. Come as you are and just get what sounds good, it will be. Always start with a cocktail ASAP while you decide on the wine.

Great restaurant. The service is good, the food has never been bad and is always freshly made. The menu is rather small but it changes often.

menu changes with the season, so look at your dates before making resv.excelent food...try the eggplant.service staff is great,knows the new menu items if you need a recommdation.

Chef Patrick has really researched authentic Itilian cuisine. What is better than an the cooking channel on in the bar while you are waiting for your table or better yet just eat in the bar same menu and great bartenders. A must for all Madisonians

Vintage Italian restaurant decor (you can almost sense the plastic table cloths and the candles in the empty wine bottle) with tables close enough together to share condiments but the food makes it all worth while. There are people in the kitchen who know what they are doing. Worth the wait for a table.
