Love the renovations! Love the new service! Love the portions of the yummy yum yum gyro! This stands out as a beautiful place to eat breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner. I frequent alone; the family run atmosphere makes me feel at ease to enjoy a humbling food adventure.
Make the stop if you're looking for a small place to leave you satisfied.
I regularly go to the restaurant ..and looks like it needs an update for a review.. the name is changed to Northside now .. Its good eats and a fair price. .. I have not been dissappointed in anything I have ordered and everyone is friendly.
I've been to the American Table several times and it's been consistently great. The staff is always friendly and willing to accomodate their customers no matter what. It's excellent food for a modest price too. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an old world feeling right here in Madison.
I've been to this family owned restaurant quite a few times and every single time I've been there I've been welcomed by smiling faces and wonderful greetings. The food is wonderful and always prepared exactly how I ordered it. The prices for everything are 100% within my budget. And for the portions of food you get for the prices I'm suprised that you don't have to pay more. The owners come around just to say hello and see how everything is. Now that's how a family restaurant should be, with a great personality. I would eat there any time. --Sarah
I eat at American Table quite frequently, and I have to say that the food is wonderful, the portions are generous, the price is great, and the staff is attentive and very friendly. Chef David is especially courteous and makes sure his customers are satisfied, and never leave hungry, and paying much attention to his ingredients and plate presentation, truly a work of art. I can honestly say that American Table is one of the best restaruants in Madison, and I will continue to keep comming back again, and again. If you want to eat great food, with an even greater price go to American Table, it's the best.
Was taking my break around that side of town today, so I had biscuts and gravey here. Not the best I've had, not the worst either but the people there don't talk much and the bus man seemed annoyed about everything. The hispanic guy must hate his job. I tried to help make them feel more appriciated by saying thank you...a lot, but still they don't say much. Nice quite place to eat, if quiet and cheap are what you are looking for.
