Description

Leon's Frozen Custard opened for business on May 1, 1942. The original 40's design is seen in the picture below. The building was later remodeled in the early 50's to as it is seen today. The business is still owned and operated by the original family. The main focus of the business is and always has been to serve the Freshest and Finest Frozen Custard available anywhere. We are open all year and have a full soda fountain service, limited sandwich menu, daily special flavors and take-out service.

Been coming here since 1961 and havent had a better milk shake or hotdog yet not to mention the custard. Fenway park in Boston MA is the second best hotdog I ve found Leons is true Americana from the building to unbeatable eats!

Leons is one of the best things about living in milwaukee. I come here all the time. any type of frozen treat compared to leons is dissapointing.

Leon's is awsome, that's all there is to it. I have seen brides go there in their wedding dresses on there wedding day!!! (I suppose that technically is the day that woman starts to let herself go...so why not start at Leon's) Anyways..That's how good it is. Ladies, FYI - if you do go in your wedding dress you don't have to pay. I have seen that happen three times, and each time they have said it's on this house. Great food...great memories...GO TO LEON'S!!!

I am from NC my husband is from Milwaukee. When we go home to visit his family, we will make a stop to Leon's for Frozen Custard. This is the best place ever. I wish we had a Leon's in NC.

The custard is very satisfying. One of the coolest things about the place is the front when lit up at night. Take a good look. It is Arnold's from Happy Days. The front of Leon's is what they would show before they cut away from Mr. amd Mrs. C's house and went to Arnold's on the show (set in Milwaukee). They should have placed the bronze fonz in front of Leon's in my opinion.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, and the best memory I have of childhood is goin to Leon's!!! Whenever I get back up to Milwaukee, this is the very first stop!!! Awesome creamy custard, and Fabulous old-time malts!!! I want one NOW!!!

I used to live near Leons and would go there weekly. I now make it my first stop when I return to Milwaukee. There is nothing like freshly made frozen CUSTARD. It has spoiled me for regular ice cream.
