Our family was in Waukesha looking for a different place to eat in and we pulled into Casa Del Rio. Walking through the place my family and I thought it looked like a fun place, but once we sat down and noticed that sauce seemed to be smeared on everything it got to be kind of disgusting. In fact, I jokingly told my kids that I could find 5 items at our table smeared with something and proceeded to find 3 immediately - the vase had a green thing smeared on it, the salt shaker had red smeared on it, and the paper advertising thing on the table had a long runny looking dried up thing on it too. While that was only 3 items - once the waiter brought our drinks - immediately the count went up as several of the glasses also had smeared items stuck on them. It was almost like we didn't even have to order - there was dried smeared food everywhere. It got to be a joke, so we decided to stay and see what else would happen. We sat next to a large TV that I think was new - in 1995. I thought it was projecting in 3d because of all the ghost images, but the ghosts were in yellow and blue - go Brewers! It was a very dark picture and not in HD - once I thought I was watching a double play but the ball turned out to be one of the numerous fly's that kept buzzing our table. The chips were free - but stale. My wife's margarita was coarse and tasted like a slushy. My chimi changas were fine, but my rice was crunchy. My kids had the taco meals that were dripping grease out the back end. Our sodas were fine, and the salsa was good. Our total bill for 4 people was $47 - which seems extremely high for the meal. Our waiter was great though, so when management read this review, don't blame him. Muy malo, no come aqui.
